So, how is the citywide denigrating gossip and story telling session going, about how stupid and/or crazy I am, NOT that there is one, and if I 'think' there is, that just shows everyone how stupid and crazy I am, so be sure to gossip about it 'covertly' to everyone you know. Remember though, don't let me 'find out' about any of you.

When all of you experts go looking for hidden meaning everywhere, do you ever feel anxiety since knowing that ‘looking for hidden meaning’ means you’re nuts? If so, do you then have to take an anti psychotic to reduce your awareness of that and treat the anxiety generated by knowing? How do you ever get out of the loop?

Teaching by Example
I must be really hard for poor Eddy to get the thousands of people he has covertly involved to agree to pretend they don’t know anything so that no one can be blamed, and no one will be tempted to listen to me, as if what I said about my own experience and feelings actually mattered. I know that most gossips also have difficulty understanding how it is that someone like me, dim bulb that I obviously am, could possibly know what they, the superior people, are doing since all those they gossip with have been sworn to secrecy. After all why would chronic gossips not keep the secrets of other chronic gossips? It makes no sense does it? From where then could I possibly be getting my information? What a perplexing mystery...what we need is more well trained experts to work on solving this...yes, that’s it...that’s it exactly...Meanwhile let us just hope that poor Eddy can manage to distract himself from this awful mess I have made by being ‘too aware’, perhaps by delivering more speeches on ethics and integrity in psychiatry so the rest of us can learn how to behave correctly by using his example.

Like Einstein
This is for those who have said, “She is like another Einstein,” as well as for those who interpret the same words with a mocking tone. Einstein was actually outside of academia as well.
In any case, my duplicitous 'friend' from down the hall has heard at 12 step meetings that I am supposed to be 'some big brain or something' but she does not see any sign of that. So after hearing about her opinion, I put a sign on my door saying, "If you don't see any sign of intelligence, perhaps that is because you have nothing to see it with.'
She and the others in the building with whom she discusses me (covertly) did not have any idea what that meant.
(another example of the humour we mad ones see that others do not)
Einstein was considered to be ‘weird’ in his day and according to some theoretical physicists now lecturing at the Perimeter Institute, if he was here today and submitted a paper for consideration which did not come from an established address but came from say, Yahoo, or Hotmail.com he would be ignored.

What is Ockham's Razor?
A more straightforward application of the Razor is when we are face with two theories which have the same predictions and the available data cannot distinguish between them.
